Getting Libby back into physical and occupational therapy has been SUCH a breath of fresh air. Before March, I knew what a blessing it was, but I took it for granted. I lived for the days we did NOT have to drive to therapy, and now we live for the days we do (and a longer drive, at that). Crazy what 6 months of abrupt, cold turkey, “no schedule no plans” will make you grateful for. I’m thriving on the schedule. Libby’s thriving on the engagement and the new ideas of her therapy team. Especially while school is still nowhere close to the real deal for her – therapy days are the best days.
