Our First Babies

Both our boys loved fresh snow so much. It’s now one year we’ve been without a dog, and, appropriately, it’s snowing like crazy today. My heart is just so full having loved them both – except for the little corner of it that misses them hard.

I took this pic on our last vacation pre-Libby. She was actually about 3 months old at this time, but we wouldn’t know about her for several months yet. We took the boys up to the North Shore for several beautiful days of winter hiking and exploring. At this moment, I was leading and had slipped and slid down a hill. I looked up and, as it turns out, I had slipped into the perfect angle for the perfect pic.
